The Project scope includes the design and construction of a new facility on a greenfield site that will house veterinary diagnostic laboratories offering tests for agents that may be found in wild and domestic birds, mammals, fish, reptiles and amphibians; plant and entomology diagnostic laboratories offering diagnoses for plant health problems affecting crops and plants grown in B.C., including plant diseases, assessments for non-pathogenic (abiotic) disorders, and insect pests; and office functions supporting the laboratories and branches of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
