Michael Morton is the Corporate Director of Major Capital Projects at Interior Health, bringing 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He spent the first decade of his career with a major general contractor, gaining broad experience on large-scale projects in roles such as field engineer, estimator, and project manager. Michael joined Interior Health in 2015. After a year in the planning department, he transitioned to the Major Projects Delivery Team, where he has played key roles in advancing several significant capital initiatives. His project portfolio includes major contributions to the Penticton Regional Hospital, Royal Inland Hospital, Kelowna General Hospital, and Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
In his current role, Michael oversees Interior Health’s major capital portfolio, supporting active projects across the region and guiding their successful planning and execution. Michael holds a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Okanagan College.
