Infrastructure BC Announces Inaugural Canadian Collaborative Contracts Conference

Vancouver, B.C. — Infrastructure BC will host the first-ever Canadian Collaborative Contracts Conference from April 28–29, 2026, at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, British Columbia. A separate half-day Interactive Alliance Workshop will be held on April 27, 2026.

The inaugural conference will convene leaders from across the public and private sectors, including procurement professionals, market experts, and project managers, to advance collaboration in the planning, procurement, and delivery of public infrastructure projects.

“This is a milestone event for Canada. We are excited to bring together public and private sector partners from across the province and Canada,” said Mark Liedemann, President & CEO of Infrastructure BC. “Collaboration is at the heart of successful project delivery, and this conference will provide a platform to share expertise, strengthen partnerships, and build capacity for the future.”

As the provincial centre of expertise in complex infrastructure delivery, Infrastructure BC has participated in over 85 major project procurements valued at more than $33 billion. “Having led the procurement of fifteen collaborative contracts over the past five years, this Canadian Collaborative Contracts Conference reinforces our role as a leader in advancing innovative and collaborative approaches to infrastructure delivery,” states Jeff Good, Infrastructure BC Vice President, Alliance and Stakeholder Relations.

Workshop and conference registration through Infrastructure BC’s website will open on December 15, 2025. At that time, additional details, including the workshop and conference agenda, speakers, and sponsorships, will be shared.
