Andrew is a Director of Commercial, Contracts and Corporate Legal Services and Senior Legal Counsel at the Hatch Group of companies. His focus is predominantly on the negotiation and facilitation of large construction and infrastructure projects, with cross over into other areas such as renewables, mining, energy and technologies. Through out his career Andrew has played a prominent role in many of the largest infrastructure projects in North America. His experience ranges across the industry and includes multiple hydropower refurbishments, numerous light rail transits (LRTs), several billion-dollar bridge projects, and major transit projects including some of Canada’s largest collaborative or alliance contracts.

As Hatch’s lead for design-build projects globally Andrew can bring best practices from many sectors and regions back to Canada’s constantly evolving infrastructure market. Andrew is passionate about unique delivery models and seeks out opportunities to get engaged in complex and interesting project delivery opportunities including the growing and evolving Transit Oriented Development (TOD), Alliance and integrated project delivery, progressive design build and P3 delivery models. Prior to joining Hatch, Andrew was Senior Legal Counsel at EllisDon and was lead counsel for a number of EllisDon projects and EllisDon consortiums in Canada and internationally. Andrew has recently been recognized for his commitment and experience in the construction industry by being recognized as On-Site Magazine’s 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction.
