Manik Raina joined EllisDon in 2018 after spending two years as in-house legal counsel at Samsung Renewable Energy Inc., where he advised on the development, construction, and maintenance/operations of renewable energy projects in North America. He started his career at Owens Wright LLP as a commercial real estate lawyer advising on a variety of commercial real estate transactions and structuring.

In his current role as a Vice President of Legal Services at EllisDon, Manik leads the legal team’s advisory services with respect to P3 & public infrastructure, development, and real estate projects pursued by EllisDon. This includes being responsible for the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts for the financing, development, construction and maintenance of such initiatives. Manik has extensive experience in the pursuit, negotiation and closing of several Progressive DB, Progressive DBFM, and Alliance projects across North America.

Manik was a recipient of the 2024 Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction recognition presented by On-Site Magazine and SitePartners. He was also a recipient of the Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers 40 and Under award in 2024.
